Cambodia allows Holland America ship to dock

Cambodia came to the rescue of travellers aboard Holland America’s MS Westerdam on Wednesday, granting the ship authorization to disembark at Sihanoukville on Thursday. 

“All approvals have been acquired and we are really grateful to the Cambodian authorities for their assist,” the line reported in a release delivered by general public relations director Erik Elvejord to Usa Right now. 

Their ship departed Hong Kong Feb. 1 and was initially scheduled to disembark in Shanghai on Saturday before coronavirus gripped mainland China and forced itinerary alterations. It was turned absent from many other disembarkation points, despite the cruise line’s assertion that there are no regarded cases among MS Westerdam’s 1,455 passengers and 802 crew.
